CORNING CRANBERRY VISIONS SAUCEPANS
NOTE: This identification guide is best viewed in landscape orientation on mobile devices.
Officially available in April of 1992, Cranberry VISIONS was touted by Corning as one of the most throughly researched and tested product introductions in the housewares industry at that time. Corning tested a number of possible colors (including Cranberry, Blue, Gray, and Clear) against the existing Amber and Cranberry was preferred by non-VISIONS owners almost 2-to-1. When they first entered the US market the Cranberry VISIONS saucepans, cook pots, and skillets were coated with DuPont's SilverStone Non-Stick coating but this would disappear from the line up in 1996. The non-stick coating was partly or entirely skipped in other regions of the world. Cranberry VISIONS was made in the USA for the entirety of its production and only discontinued in the early 2000's with the shutdown of the VISIONS / Corning Ware plant in Martinsburg, WV.

"1 Pt. Open Saucepan - Cranberry"
MARKING (Handle): VISION CORNING USA 0.5L
While versions of the 0.5L were sold without Silverstone in other regions, It's unclear when this version of the Cranberry 0.5L saucepan was available in the USA. It is, seemingly, not mentioned in dealer catalogs. It appears in at least one TV Commercial alongside Cranberry Non-Stick skillets which places it circa 1995 or earlier. Unlike the Amber V-81, this Cranberry 0.5L has no known lid.
