Given that VISIONS has been manufactured approximately four decades, a rather expansive set of covers has been produced for the various pieces and model lines over time. To make matters even more confusing, the same model numbers were often used across different lids of the same size but with some variations being subtle yet important. For example, "V-2.5-C" will appear on at least 6 distinctly different glass lids yet some will only fit specific cooking vessels. When searching the list below, do not rely on model numbers alone, take note of distinctive features mentioned or displayed in the pictures. If it doesn't seem to fit, check the other Series of covers to see if the model number was re-used.

In the USA, most VISIONS cookware has been sold with covers made of PYREX glass, tinted Fireside (brown) or Cranberry. Glass covers made in Europe will be brown or clear and only marked with a size in centimeters (18cm, 20cm, etc…). "Cooking Lids" manufactured in France are flat and made of transparent, amber Pyroceram.

LE CLAIR PYROCERAM & GLASS COVERS

VO-Series Pyroceram covers

VISION brand transparent Pyroceram covers tinted amber, made in France. These were known as "Cooking Lids" in the USA and could be flipped over for use as a skillet, baking pan, or serving tray. While these lids were more common in European regions, they were only available in the United States 1981-1982. Some lids may be marked "VISION" while others will merely be marked "FRANCE" with no branding whatsoever.

Revised (Version 2): 1990-1998
Fluted (Version 3): 1999-201?
Pyrex glass covers tinted Fireside brown, made in the USA. This series of lids was revised at least twice. The first revision, circa 1990, made modifications to the underside of the lid - 3 pairs of "bumps" lift the lid to allow venting and reduce rattling. These amber lids were modified yet again in 1999 to include fluted decoration around the knob, as seen on Oven/Microwave and Cranberry Visions lids.

OTHER GLASS COVERS

Amber Octime glass covers

During 2010-2011 a model line called "Octime" was briefly sold under the VISIONS brand name. These casseroles and lids were manufactured by ARC International France. The amber bases were made of vitro-ceramic and the covers of tempered glass. Some lids may be marked "ARC", "FRANCE", or both.

Manufacturer ARC International France sold the Octime line of casseroles under their own brands (Arcoflam, Luminarc, Arcoroc) in many regions for a number of years. They have also offered other vitro-ceramic cookware that uses these same lids. So, while these lids are still considered uncommon in the USA, it may be easier to find them bundled with other cookware, when needed.
